Dental Implant Prothesis
Dental implants are biocompatible titanium screws placed to jawbone for the purpose of providing the function, phonation aesthetic of tooth or teeth which is/are deficient.
When applied with correct diagnosis, sufficient information, experience and equipment, implants give perfect results in terms of the patient and doctor. Today there is no age limit for implant application; however, sufficient bone support is required.
Dental implants provide advantages compared to classical bridge prostheses without making any abrasion from adjacent teeth especially in individual tooth deficiencies and for protecting the bone in that site.
They are an alternative to removable prosthesis in total or partial tooth deficiencies and increase the comfort and chewing function of the patient.
